Slow first impression
Measured on an actual handset. Picture a commuter on the metrobus with patchy reception staring at a white page for four seconds. One swipe back and a rival's ad gets the click. Lab scores on a desktop hide this completely.
Imagine a home textiles label based in İzmir. Its web shop is built on ikas, some products are also listed on Trendyol, and roughly €2,500 a month is split between Google Ads and Meta. According to the ad platforms, every euro spent comes back fourfold. The company bank account disagrees. Please note that Apply is not a creative agency: designing visuals, choosing bid strategies and writing ad copy stay with you or your agency. Our part is the plumbing underneath, which in most companies belongs to nobody in particular: measurement, consent for cookies, opt-in records for promotional messages and the CRM that ties them together. Once that is sorted, it becomes obvious which source funds the business and which one merely flatters the dashboard.
An audit shows which share of the advertising spend is earning its keep. The CRM pipeline then takes care of the people who do get in touch, assigning each of them to a person so that no request is left waiting in a shared mailbox.
With viewer permissions we inspect GA4, Tag Manager, the Google and Meta advertising accounts, your Merchant Center feed and the cookie banner. The outcome is a real price tag for every enquiry and every order, per source, with duplicated or phantom conversions removed from the totals.
Contact forms, inbound mail, WhatsApp Business conversations and cards gathered at trade shows end up in a single system, each one labelled with where it came from and what the person agreed to. Someone is responsible for every contact within a set time, and monthly figures reveal how many deals each source closed.
Losing some visitors along the way is normal. The expensive part is guessing where it happens: spend rises, and the additional money is thrown at a stage that was never the problem.
Measured on an actual handset. Picture a commuter on the metrobus with patchy reception staring at a white page for four seconds. One swipe back and a rival's ad gets the click. Lab scores on a desktop hide this completely.
We record which scripts load before agreement. Tracking pixels that run ahead of the visitor's choice raise a KVKK issue. Get Consent Mode wrong in the other direction and genuine conversions disappear from reporting without warning.
Fields nobody in sales reads are removed. To call someone back you need a name, a contact detail and a line about the request. Job title, sector, staff numbers and tax office simply push people to abandon the page.
Routing goes through the CRM instead. It is common to find form alerts still addressed to an employee who is off for Bayram, or to someone who resigned last spring. Nobody spots it for weeks.
A reply-time goal, measured every week. A household collecting three quotes for new kitchen units usually signs with the quickest responder, not the lowest price. Answering in the first hour is cheaper than a bigger ad budget.
The source label stays attached until billing. If it drops off, no one can say whether a customer arrived through paid search, the Instagram page or word of mouth, and next month's budget is split on instinct.
A quick self-check costs nothing. Take your phone, submit your own contact form under a fake name and see what happens next. Does the acknowledgement email show up, or is it caught by the spam filter? Does a colleague receive an alert? Can you find the request in your CRM? A single failure here means any increase in Google Ads spend disappears down the same drain. While you are at it, look at the marketing opt-in tick box: once someone ticks it, is their permission actually registered with IYS?
All remote, all read-only, with no visit to your premises. The final document orders its suggestions by how much they are likely to move revenue.
Every purchase and every form should register once, no more and no less. We reconcile GA4 against real orders in ikas or WooCommerce and against opportunities in the CRM.
What an enquiry costs and what an order costs, worked out per channel. It is surprisingly common for the cheapest enquiries to turn into the smallest sales.
We send two test requests, from a mobile and from a laptop, then log whether they get through, which consents are saved and how quickly somebody answers.
Findings come with an estimate of payoff and of the work needed. Several are typically half-day jobs whose effect is visible within days.
That is outside what we do, and we say so on day one. We look after tags, consent tools, integrations, CRM set-up and site speed. Agencies generally welcome us, since their optimisation finally runs on figures they can trust, and their own numbers tend to improve as a result.
Guidance from the Turkish data protection authority on cookies indicates that anything beyond strictly necessary cookies, especially for advertising and analytics, needs explicit consent first, and saying no should take no more effort than saying yes. We set up the banner in whichever consent platform you prefer, match Consent Mode to it and write the configuration down. Where EU residents visit your site, GDPR is factored in as well. Grey areas remain a matter for your legal adviser.
Under the Turkish law on electronic commerce, known as ETK, and the regulation that goes with it, promotional electronic messages to private individuals need their permission beforehand. Those permissions must be logged in IYS, the national Message Management System, and people must be able to withdraw easily. Messages to businesses and tradespeople follow different rules. A phone number you happen to hold from an earlier call is not permission. We keep separate SMS, email and voice-call opt-ins in the CRM, each stamped with the date and the text the person accepted, and wire your forms so that they stay consistent with IYS. Your lawyer should review any particular campaign.
Yes, with a caveat. A marketplace reports on promotions and orders inside its own seller panel, yet it cannot tell you anything about behaviour on your website. We therefore treat marketplace data as its own channel and set it next to your shop's figures, so you can judge where a given product earns more when promoted.
You will still learn a lot, but some questions will stay open. Without a CRM, nobody can link an enquiry to the invoice it eventually became, so each channel's contribution is guesswork. For companies in that position, introducing a basic CRM is normally our first recommendation, before spending anything more on ads.
Plain mistakes, like a form that silently fails or acknowledgements that go to junk mail, are repaired fast and help immediately. A redesigned pipeline and complete attribution need several weeks of fresh data before one month can be set against another. You will not hear promises about search positions or sales growth percentages from us. Work is charged at €55 an hour plus VAT, or quoted as a flat fee.
List the channels you advertise on and whatever seems off in the figures. We will review the tracking and go through the buyer's path ourselves, from the first ad to your reply.
We have your enquiry
A reply will reach you by the next working day at the latest. If your message says work has come to a halt, it goes to the top of the pile.
