A single place for the paperwork

Each site gets a workspace in SharePoint or on the project platform your firm already relies on. The folder tree is identical from job to job, older versions are retained, and access is granted site by site. Sheets, bills of quantities, cost estimates, hakediş files, the site diary, minutes, the works programme and safety documentation all sit there. Flash drives full of drawings and personal folders thrown open to everyone at midnight before a tender stop being part of the routine.

Big models, remote horsepower

Files from Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD or Tekla, and combined IFC models, are far too large to pull over a 4G signal. Instead, people work through remote desktops or an in-browser viewer: only pixels move, and the source file stays put in backed-up storage. That same remote capacity speeds up long-running jobs such as structural analysis, or the energy performance calculation that must be redone each time the glazing changes.

Subcontractors and consultants

Outside firms receive Microsoft 365 guest identities scoped to one site, protected by a second sign-in factor and set to lapse at provisional acceptance. The mechanism for that lapse depends on which licences you hold, so we pick an approach proven to work with your subscription. Goodbye to the one shared password written on the cabin wall for everyone to read.

Connectivity on site

The 4G or 5G router comes from your mobile operator, bought by you. While it is still at head office, we push its settings over the internet. At the site someone connects the power and, where coverage is poor, mounts an antenna up top. Remotely we then bring up the encrypted tunnel to the office, content filtering and alerts on the connection.

Tablets and laptops in the field

Every device is registered in a management console, for instance Intune where your Microsoft 365 subscription allows. Once logged in with a work account, the site chief has sheets, mail and the programme at hand, and the laptops used to approve hakediş claims and minutes with an e-İmza come with card reader drivers ready. A tablet abandoned on a scaffold gets a remote lock and wipe the next time it connects.

Some jobs last one season, others several years. Either way the technology has to arrive and leave on the same lorry schedule as the portakabin.

Opening sheets directly over a patchy link wastes whole afternoons. Loading takes ages, and losing signal during a save can corrupt the sheet. Through remote desktops or an in-browser viewer, just the screen image is transmitted and the master copy remains safe in the workspace, revision and author included. Suppose an Ankara contracting firm has four projects under way: its site chief sitting in a cabin in Gölbaşı views the model in the same detail as the architect at head office.

Its settings are loaded before it ships, so installation means connecting power and, if needed, fixing the aerial to the cabin. Any site chief or electrician manages it by following a one-page guide. Tunnel, filtering and alerts are then switched on at our end. Our engineers do not travel to sites, but one of them watches the process live over video from start to finish.

Your design team keeps the modelling and authors the BIM plan. What we supply is the groundwork: a shared, well-organised repository for models and sheet revisions, enough computing power at each desk or in virtual desktops, and clean access rights for outside consultants. When handover has to happen in IFC, we verify that nothing is lost on export.

Not always. If demanding renders are needed only a few times each month, hourly cloud computing plus standard office laptops is frequently the cheaper option. We price both options against how your team really works, so you buy on evidence.

The workspace always shows the current revision first. Earlier ones are kept, yet reaching them means opening the version history on purpose. Technology covers only half of this; the other half is discipline, so together we agree how files are named and a clear approval step before any new revision is published.

We collect them per project into one location, with a folder for each claim period, approved versions locked and a trail of edits. If your quantity and payment software stores data in a database, its server and backups become our responsibility as well. Next time the employer or the supervising consultant queries an old claim, the file is found in seconds rather than hunted down in an inbox.

No. Access ends on the date set in advance, either automatically or at the next access review, as your licensing allows. Should defects need fixing before final acceptance, we restore it without delay. Logins and file activity are recorded, with retention governed by your Microsoft plan. If anyone asks who viewed a particular document, you can produce a report rather than rely on recollection.

Yes. Ten people, two active sites and a single CAD seat sit comfortably within Start, which starts at €490 a month plus VAT and includes up to 10 users. Extra work is charged at €55 an hour plus VAT. Many firms begin modestly, sorting out their project documents before anything else.
