Picture an automotive spare parts supplier with head office in Bursa, a warehouse in Gebze and half of its accounts team working from home two days a week. Logo Tiger runs on an office server. At home, the accountant waits a full minute over VPN for a customer statement to appear, and the dispatch lead in Gebze has to request every report by email. Excel exports are scattered across laptops, and preparing a computer for a new hire takes two days. Hosted desktops reverse the model. Windows and all the applications live in the data centre beside the database, and the laptop simply displays what happens there. Files stay inside the data centre, a lost notebook reveals nothing, and fresh staff can be productive the afternoon they arrive. We design, deploy and operate the platform remotely. We also run the numbers honestly beforehand, because a six-person office working in one application is usually better off with properly managed laptops.
Product names come last. Seven practical questions come first, and their answers point to Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 or a traditional remote desktop server hosted in Europe.
Is everyone online at the same time, or do some people drop in occasionally? Large simultaneous groups favour pooled hosts running multi-session Windows; a handful of users with very different needs may be better on individual Cloud PCs.
Software with habits
Line-of-business programs that expect a local database, hard-coded drive letters, licence dongles plugged into USB, email plug-ins. Each gets tested before any go-live date is promised.
e-Signature and financial seal tokens
The USB e-signature and financial seal devices used for tax returns, e-Ledger or e-Invoice work need their own test inside a virtual desktop. Drivers, smart card redirection and the signing application are tried with a real transaction during the pilot.
Hosting location
Azure in an EU region, a remote desktop server at Hetzner, OVHcloud or IONOS, or Turkish data centres when data must remain in the country. We record the location of each data set for your personal data inventory, while the legal side of an EU transfer stays with your adviser.
Existing licence entitlements
Microsoft 365 Business Premium and E3 currently carry Azure Virtual Desktop usage rights, whereas a self-managed remote desktop server requires RDS CALs. Our calculation starts from licences already on your invoice.
Hardware at the edge
Notebooks, thin clients or staff-owned devices, along with printers, barcode scanners, document scanners and headsets. If it works when plugged into an office PC, it has to work in the hosted desktop as well.
Day-two operations
A monthly refresh of the golden image, spending kept in check with power schedules and budget warnings, user accounts opened and closed, and a helpdesk for questions.
How we approach the job, from first call to handover
With twenty to thirty users, the journey from first meeting to final cut-over typically spans a month to six weeks.
01
Business case
Per-user monthly cost compared with buying new laptops and with running your own remote desktop server. If VDI loses, you hear it plainly and the project ends there.
02
Trial on live workloads
Five to eight volunteers use a small hosted environment for their real jobs over a fortnight. Peripheral, signing and plug-in issues reveal themselves at this stage.
03
Phased rollout
Team after team moves across, with FSLogix profile containers, Entra ID conditional access and the client pushed out through Intune. Nobody is forced onto the new system on one big-bang day.
04
Steady state
Patching, user support, profile backups and a monthly usage and spending report.
Hosts left on overnight burn money. Cloud capacity is billed by the hour it runs. Session hosts that stay powered after everyone has gone home push the invoice up while producing nothing. Power schedules and spending alerts are configured from the very beginning, and idle hours appear as their own line in the monthly report. For late-night periods such as tax return weeks, we adjust the schedule with you ahead of time.
Frequently asked questions
Quite possibly. Six people sharing one application rarely need it; managed laptops cost less and are easier to live with. The case gets stronger with lots of remote work, confidential data, high staff turnover or software that only runs reliably on the office LAN.
Nothing is lost, because the desktop keeps running in the data centre. Staff can tether to a mobile or head home, log back in and resume the very same session. We would still suggest a backup line at the office, such as 5G.
From a technical standpoint, yes: nothing is stored locally, and clipboard, printing and downloads can all be disabled. Legally, it should be covered in the written remote working agreement that Turkey's Labour Law and Remote Working Regulation call for, alongside equipment, expenses and data protection.
Not with Teams media optimisation enabled: sound and video go directly between the user's own device and Microsoft instead of being relayed by the host. Leave it off and calls get choppy, so we switch it on as standard.
Either by the hour at €55 plus VAT or as a fixed quote derived from the business case. Cloud consumption and licences are paid straight to the vendors, and our operations fee monthly. All three always appear as separate lines.
Say roughly how many users would move to hosted desktops and which applications matter to them. Within a working day we will send an initial opinion on whether VDI is worth it for you.

We have your enquiry
A reply will reach you by the next working day at the latest. If your message says work has come to a halt, it goes to the top of the pile.
Filling the gaps. If we need more information to judge the job, we send questions by email or propose a quick Teams or Google Meet call.
A written quote. It lists the scope, a euro price excluding VAT and a realistic start date. No hidden clauses, no items that appear later.
Your decision. The quote arrives by email. Take whatever time you need, raise questions on any line, and decide when you are ready.
